Annual FREE “Concert Under the Stars” 2015

Oh – What A Special Night!

On Sunday evening August 9th, celebrating its 30th Anniversary the Hampton Bays Beautification Association held its 19th Annual Free “Concert Under the Stars” featuring “The Fabulous Grease Band” at Ponquogue Beach in Hampton Bays. Many residents and visitors sat overlooking the bay and the ocean listening while others danced to the wonderful sounds of the band.

We would like to thank the Town of Southampton for assisting in this event. Chris Bean and Jon Erwin and the entire crew of the Parks and Recreation Department did a really commendable job. Also, kudos to Southampton Town Human Services for the shuttle buses, Town of Southampton Highway Department, Hampton Bays Volunteer Ambulance, Hampton Bays Volunteer Fire Department and the Southampton Town Police Department for the extraordinary job they did.

I would also like to thank the Hampton Bays Beautification Association volunteers who put this wonderful event together. Thanks to Chairmen Jack O’Keefe and John Zuccarelli and their great team of Greeters, Bucket Brigade, and our roving photographer Molly Doyle. Without our amazing volunteers and the financial help of the community, this wonderful event would not be possible. Look for the pictures on our web site soon and visit us on our web site or LIKE us on Facebook for future events.

We would like to extend a very special thanks to a talented student, 16 year old Christiaan Padovan for singing the National Anthem and singing with the band. What a wonderful talent and such a treat for the community.
